FinJa Music

FinJa Music, established at the beginning of 2022, aims to promote musical exchange and collaboration between Finland and Japan by arranging concerts and other events in both countries.

Our next event is symposium ”Japan and Finland – Composers in Dialogue”, which will be held in Tokyo Concerts Lab on 1st of November, 2024.
In discussion part we have opening words by Seppo Kimanen, and composers Toshio Hosokawa, Lotta Wennäkoski and Ari Romppanen, as well as conductor Yuri Nitta, speaking in discussion hosted by Lasse Lehtonen. In the concert works of aforementioned composers, but also of Outi Tarkiainen, Harri Vuori, Magnus Lindberg, Ichiro Nodaira, Misato Mochizuki and Sebastian Fagerlund will be performed by flutist Shino Saito, clarinetist Kyusang Jeong, violinist Madoka Sato, cellist Mano Shimojima, and pianists Aska Iino, Itaru Ogawa and Eriko Takahashi.
